Working Title
Idle Nanites Evolution
Concept Statement
Humanity is almost extinct the universe consumed by corrupted nanites. Evolve, Strengthen, and upgrade your Nanite swarm, overcome all enemies in your path and take back the universe, will you become the ultimate nanite swarm.
Concept creation process.
Based on an idea that came to me while playing Idle to Rule the Gods and influenced by other idle incremental games that I have played such as Machine and Armory, play style is like Idle to Rule the Gods and graphical display or effects were influenced by Machine and Armory both are mobile games.
Backstory
You are an Artificial Intelligence created to better the world, you are a nanite swarm built of one nanite brain and many workers, before being activated another artificial intelligence was created with the intent to destroy the world and succeeded you are about to be activated amidst the debris of earth floating in space, a universe controlled by corrupted nanite swarms.
Play Modes
There are two modes of play:
- Idle, Incremental mode, this makes up most of the game displaying nanites and providing the user with interactive option to strengthen their nanites.
- Top-Down Strategy mode, this is where the user fights against an enemy using swarms of nanites and abilities/skill unlocked in the main mode.
Genre
Idle, Incremental.
The main Part of the game is Idle incremental as the main part of the game is played using nanites to research and upgrade nanite abilities/skills over time based on number assigned to task, options are unavailable and unknown to the user until they have been unlocked through certain actions or achievements being performed and because nanites continue to work even when not paying.
The second part is a top-down strategy game this is because the user moves nanites around to overwhelm and destroy the enemy nanites, through general damage per unit and abilities/skills unlocked, they fight over a map that encompasses all nanites friend or foe and shrinks as they get closer, zooming in is possible as maps get larger to allow for easier control of nanites, first to eliminate the others nanite brain is the winner, tho as this is a smaller part of the game i did not add it to Genre.
Target Audience
Casual gamers ages 14+.
Casual gamers are the mostly likely to play this game as constant play is not required, it can be played when time allows with an equal amount of player input needed vs idle play.
Players aged 14 and up are most likely to play this game as they are old enough to understand the game, also many in this range go to school or work and may find casual games the way to go.
Similar games
- Idle to Rule the Gods
- Machine and Armory
- You are a Nanite Brain currently you are only able to gather scrap and use it to create nanite workers, nanite workers are automatically created if enough scrap metal is available.
- you use nanite workers to research and upgrade base features of the nanite brain and its nanite worker such as the speed nanites are created.
- The more nanites assigned to a task the faster the task is performed.
- You use your nanites to fight other swarms of nanites, defeating them all or just there nanite brain will result in victory, and rewards such as claiming undestroyed nanites as your own and resource required for later upgrades.
- Most features are hidden from you until they are unlocked how many will you discover.
- Progress is saved automatically and often.
- When you stop playing upon return you will be shown what your nanites have accomplished while you were away such as the number of nanites created.
Brought out in 2014 and still going with regular update this idle incremental game is similar as instead on nanites you create clones and train them to defeat gods, my idea is like this but with more interactive battles and a more interesting and interactive graphical user interface as Idle to rule the gods is a simpler text-based design.
On Google play with over 500 thousand downloads and a 4.4-star rating.
This is an idle incremental game with a nice story.
This game influenced the creation process through its way of revealing new elements and display.
